Questions about Star Wars Droid Tycoon
What does each rebirth need?
Three specific droids at a minimum tier, plus a credit amount. The credits are the same on every path. Only the droids change.
Which path am I on?
Open the Rebirth screen in game. Your path number is in the top-right corner.
Is there a path 6?
Not yet. The developers announced a new path for October 10, 2026. It goes on this site as soon as its requirements are out. Until then, after path 5, a Super Rebirth sends you back to path 1. Path 1 asks for the same droids and credits the second time around.
Which rebirth number do I use?
The number at the bottom left of your screen. It counts rebirths on your current path and goes back to 0 after a Super Rebirth. The number on your hologram counts every rebirth you've ever done, so don't use that one.
Do the droids have to be in my base?
Yes. They have to be placed in your base, working or parked in the Lounge. Having one in your Droidex isn't enough.
Does a higher tier count?
Yes. A higher tier always counts for a lower one. A Diamond R9 clears a Gold R9 requirement.
Do Kyber droids count right away?
Only after you activate them at the Cantina. An inactive Kyber droid from the Sandcrawler doesn't count yet.
Do I lose my droids when I rebirth?
No. A normal rebirth keeps your droids. It resets your credits and rank.
When is it safe to sell a droid?
Once your path doesn't need it again. The Rebirth tab lists those under "Finished with these." Never sell a Flawless droid.
When can I Super Rebirth?
After rebirth 12, if you also own a Legendary droid at Rainbow tier or better.
When should I Super Rebirth?
Do your first one early, at rebirth 12 to 15. The first run is the slowest you'll ever do, and the cheapest Nova Shop upgrades cost 1 to 10 crystals. After that, keep going while the next rebirth takes less than about 20% of the time this run has taken, dropping to 10% by rebirth 39. The Super Rebirth planner works it out from your own times.
What does a Super Rebirth reset?
It clears your droids, credits, blueprints, chips, base upgrades, pickaxe and Kyber crystals. Iconics can be bought back for 1M credits each. Your Droidex, cosmetics, Flawless unlocks, Nova crystals, Nova Shop upgrades and droidsmith level stay.
How many Nova crystals does a Super Rebirth give?
The Super Rebirth itself pays 11 crystals at rebirth 12, rising to 529 at rebirth 40. Rebirths 20 and up also pay crystals as you go, 2,975 in all by rebirth 40, so a full run to 40 earns 3,504. Each crystal the Super Rebirth pays also adds 2% to your credits and 10% to your XP for good.
How does fusion work?
Fusion opens at rebirth 3. Three of the same droid at the same tier make one at the next tier. Three different droids of the same rarity make a random droid one rarity up. 17 droids only come from fusion, each from a fixed recipe of three droids, and they take the lowest tier of the three.
Where is my credit multiplier?
It's the green number under your credits, bottom left of the screen. The green number by your XP bar is your XP multiplier, not the credit one.
How up to date is this?
The data was checked against game version 1.33 on Oct 8, 2026, across four community guides. The game usually updates on Saturdays, and the site is checked again after each update.
Is this an official site?
No. It's a free fan-made guide. It isn't affiliated with Epic Games, Lucasfilm, Disney or FOAD.
Do I need an account?
